Music festivals you can stay at with a Karma Campervan

The great outdoors and great music… we’d say that’s the perfect match! Take your Karma campervan to a music festival this summer for comfortable camping immersed in music and awesomeness. Hre are just a few of our favourite events coming up this summer.

Laketown Shakedown
June 26 – 28, 2020

Laketown Ranch, Lake Cowichan, BC

Near the shores of beautiful Cowichan Lake on Vancouver Island, the Laketown Shakedown features rock, hip-hop, and high-energy artists of all genres. The 2020 lineup is yet to be released, but previous headliners have included Snoop Dogg, Incubus, Smash Mouth, Grandson, and more. With grounds spanning 172 acres, the festival offers a great camping experience as well. The ranch is just minutes from one of the largest lakes on Vancouver Island, and you’ll find a winding river and tons of activities and amenities right on one site.

Shambhala Music Festival

July 24-27, 2020

Salmo, BC

The Shambhala Music Festival attracts world renowned DJs and artists and thousands of eclectic, energetic fans. Set in the beautiful mountains of Salmo, BC, six uniquely themed stages feature the best in electronic and live dance music. The Sunshine and Starlight camp zones allow for vehicle camping, or you can splurge for a spacious Central Park RV site just outside downtown Shambhala.

Big Valley Jamboree

July 30 – August 2, 2020
Camrose, Alberta

Pack your cowboy boots and cut-offs for the Big Valley Jamboree! The annual country music festival in Camrose, Alberta, will have performances this summer by Eric Church, Dallas Smith, Terri Clark, Dierks Bentley, and more. Camping is available on site, so reserve your spot when you buy your tickets.   

Summer Meltdown

August 6-9, 2020

Darrington, Washington

A multi-day music festival that promises summer fun for all, Summer Meltdown features four stages of music and onsite camping with river access and tubing. “Where the Music meets the Mountain,” you’ll love the beautiful forest setting.

Under The Big Sky Festival

July 18 & 19, 2020

Whitefish, Montana

Celebrating both traditional and contemporary takes on our America’s rich musical traditions, Under The Big Sky Festival is set on a 350 acre ranch just outside of Whitefish, Montana, with performances across two stages in naturally formed amphitheaters on the ranch. This summer’s lineup includes Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, Brothers Osborne, The Head and the Heart, and more. Camping is available on a 40 acre site less than three miles from the festival, with shuttles provided.

Rockin’ the Rivers

August 13-15, 2020

Three Forks, Montana

Rock out in the Jefferson River Canyon near Three Forks, Montana, at the annual three-day Rockin’ the Rivers music festival. Known for bringing in big name rock and metal bands, the rockfest runs from August 13-15 this year. Stay the weekend at the on-location campground.

Pickathon

July 30-August 2, 2020

Happy Valley, Oregon

Located just east of Portland, bluegrass, roots and indie artists perform at the annual Pickathon music festival. Camping is available onsite at the Pendarvis Farm. The festival is proudly sustainable, and is the only outdoor music festival in the US to minimize all single-use, cups, dishware, and utensils.
