Updates to pricing and booking policies – March 24th, 2019

At Karma Campervans, we strive every day to make your Canadian vanlife road trip the best possible experience. As we grow, we’ve had to make a few changes to our pricing and booking policies. We’ve also had a few frequently asked questions pop up that we’d like to address. Please see updates below:

Two-Night Minimum during Winter. Three-Nights During Summer

In order to fully appreciate everything our campervans offer and to make it economically viable, reservations must be at least two nights during winter season (October 1 – April 30) and three nights during summer season (May 1 – September 30).

Pet Fee

We love pets! Each of the founders have, or have had, pets. But they are messy, and shed, a lot! And since our campevans are thoroughly cleaned, and to ensure the comfort of our next guests, we need to take extra time  to clean those campers that have pets in them (like double or triple the time), which is why we’ve added a $59 pet fee.

Guests Under 25 Years Old

We’ve had many requests from people who want to rent a Karma Campervans and are under 25 years of age. We’d love to have you as our guests and worked very hard with our insurance company to make it happen. However, we are not able to rent to anyone under 25 years of age due to our insurance policy. Sorry about that!

Pick Up and Drop Off Times

We have new pick up and drop off times for 2019. Our policy now allows guests to pick up the campervans as early as 12:00pm (noon) on the first day of their reservation, and drop off by 12:00pm (noon) on the final day of your reservation.

If you would like to pick up earlier there is an early pick up fee of $100+ GST, which allows you to pick up after 8:00am on the first day of your reservation. If you would like to drop off the campervan late, there is a fee of $100+ GST, which allows you to drop the campervan off anytime after noon but before 6:00pm on the final day of your reservation. We have also had to add a $100/hr late fee for rentals not returned on time as too many people were unfortunately abusing the return policy.

2019 Rental Rates Not Changing

You’ll be happy to know our nightly rental rates have not changed since we launched in 2018. They will stay at $239/night during our peak season (May 1 – September 30) and $124.28/night during our winter season (October 1 – April 30). However, we now require full payment when a reservation is made.
